Ebony jewelwing

For years I've tried to take shots of this damselfly. Finally, last Friday I was able to capture it during a field day in Ashtabula County.

Do the "Ebony Jewelwing" be from the hood? I remember riding my bike in that area and standing in some poison ivy when I spotted a similar dragon fly coming out the liquor store.

Funny that you ask because Muffin found one in our shrubs a few weeks ago. The fact that it was a few miles from a river makes it a rare sighting in our hood.

It must have been the same "Ebony Jewelwing" I saw in Cleveland. He was standing on E 55th and Broadway, selling watches from an open trench coat. Could it be the same Ebony Jewelwing in the hood?
